1968~1974

Entrepreneurship, challenges, creative. ILJIN Group, the beginning of its challenging history - Founded in 1968, ILJIN Group continued its long history! Every moment was a moment of new challenges and creation. ILJIN did not settle down but it actively created new future through ceaseless technology development and pioneered a new road. ILJIN, taking a step forward everyday began challenges and creation.

1975~1983

Laying the foundation for further growth through ceaseless efforts - ILJIN Metal Industry company, which had continued to grow through continued technological development had become a sound medium-sized company by the 1970s. However, ILJIN’s progress did not stop there. ILJIN Electric Corporation, which would later be the foundation of ILJIN group, was established on January 27, 1982. ‘ILJIN Metal industry company’ was renamed to ‘ILJIN Electric and Metal Industry Corporation’ and was converted to a Corporation. The conversion signaled the transition from a self-owned business to a Corporation, thereby improving its international credibility.

1984~1987

The foundation of ILJIN group and the ILJIN culture of ‘activism’ - Company motto: Activism. Business principle: foster capable workersㆍdevelop new productsㆍincrease competitiveness ILJIN reformed and established its company motto and business principles, which solidified the spiritual foundation and cultivated the ILJIN culture of the company. ILJIN’s founding spirit of facing challenges and pioneering the future live on within the company motto principles, while it also embodies the passion of ILJIN to always ‘actively’ charge into the future.
